At Camp Jacobson, we have a ton of awesome summer activities for kids.  We offer specialized instruction in Sports, Arts, Science and Nature, Adventure, and Swim that create special moments and exciting experiences for every camper.  It's a balanced blend that feeds the mind, body and spirit.

 

Sports -- Healthy Competition and Everyone's a Winner!

With curriculum and staff provided by Unlimited Sports Action, we offer highly qualified sports professionals and exceptional instruction.   Our camp philosophy emphasizes teamwork over competition, while promoting physicality with a healthy emphasis on game play and skill building drills.

Our sports offerings include: basketball, baseball, gymnastics, lacrosse, hockey, football, gaga, soccer, tae kwon do, tennis, and more. 

For our younger campers, we provide an exceptional Junior Sports program which allows your child to participate on age-appropriate (differently sized) fields to reach realistic goals and recognize accomplishment.

 

Swim -- Grow Life Skills in A Supportive Environment!

Our three heated pools are supervised by certified lifeguards who implement an age-appropriate American Red Cross swim curriculum. With daily instruction, your child will reach new milestones, demonstrate his or her new skills in swim tests, and graduate to new levels of skill and achievement. In addition to daily swim lessons, campers enjoy a recreational swim every day. Water slides and diving boards are especially popular!

Adventure -- Reach New Heights!

One of our most renowned programs is our Adventure challenge, staffed by specially trained professionals with expertise in team building and outdoor education. These staff ensure a safe setting for exploration.  With high and low ropes courses, a 30-foot rock-climbing wall and two thrilling zip lines, Adventure is a favorite among campers of all ages.

Arts -- Engage the Creative Side!

There’s so much more to Arts at Camp Jacobson than “Arts and Crafts.”  Your child can expect to participate in  Cartooning, Jewelry and Beadmaking, Woodworking, Ceramics, Sketch and Painting, and work on a mural over the course of the summer.

Daily scheduled summer activities for kids also include Dance, Music, Cheerleading, and Theater Performance.  Our campers take the stage for astounding performances, summer after summer.

 

Science and Nature -- Explore the World Around You!

Camp is a great place for exploration. Our Teva Nature Center features an aquarium that is home to a variety of reptiles, amphibians, and marine life, along with many educational tools, including incubators, ant farms, and butterfly tents.

At our Organic Garden, campers learn to grow and harvest fruits and vegetables, herbs, and flowers. Our salad bar is stocked with camp-grown foods!

Our "Wacky Science" program encourages children to apply their skills and imagination in fun and creative ways, shooting rockets, making slime, working on model volcanoes, assembling solar powered vehicles, and more.
